This morning I got up and went to the brew shop, picked up some hops, yeast, and grains to make some beer!. Opus came in so I went by Alpha and Ros Cig Merches to pick up a few. Got 9 FF and 1 #5 - need some Super Beli and xXx, why don't they ship these? Smoked a PPC while cruising around.
Smoked a monster Camacho Havana Diademas while brewingup a batch of ESB for the Brewmaster's Open next month - should be a
GOOD beer!! Drank some of my last batch, Strong Belgian Abbey Ale while brewing, tasting pretty good, may have a shot at the competition as well.
Got a neighborhood party to go to tonight, mexican theme - more Margaritas?
Let's see, took my brother-in-law's dog back to his house yesterday (he'd spent 3 nights with us, big f'in Chessie Retirever). Smoked a Private Stock #1 on the way there and back. Smoked a really nice Monte #2 with some Ron Zacap rum after dinner. Burned an Opus X #4 while watching "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" - wack film for sure. Switched to Brugal Anejo after the Monte.
Funny thing happened at my interview w/ Brio - couple of guys I used to work with were also on the list of candidates. Stan P (TS), Hank C (saw him at Big Smoke) was last in - gave him a call. Guy asked about me.
Alright, had some beers with some old associates. Guy next to me wins $1400 by rolling the dice for a buck. Has to buy us a drink, but hey, he's up (and tax-free at that!).
Smoked a PPC and an RyJTPC at the bar with Bass Ale draughts. After dinner, fired up a Vegas de Fonseca Anteros with some Bushmills. Had another PPC as a nightcap - smoking through these quick.

Smoked one of them Partagas PC's around 4PM -very nice and dusty with age (weird, but no box code - positive they're legit though). Burned a Padron Chicos Maduro - very good -with a dry Martini before dinner. Smoked an Opux X #2 after dinner with some Black Adder Ben Nevis raw cask single malt - yeah! Had one more of thsoe new Partagas Petite Coronas with a little Bowmore Legend to wrap the night.
Talked w/ Brio today, got SAP this afternoon. Something's got to turn up!
Smoked a Moore & Bode Flamboyan yesterday afternoon, and a 1997 RyJ Cazadore last night with water - suckah rocked!!!
Smoked another one of those '97 RyJ TPCs before lunch today. Tasty!

Just finished reading "The Rum Diaries" by Hunter S Thompson. I guess he wrote it in 1959, but didn't publish it until 1998. Pretty cool story about Puerto Rico 40 years ago. Many places in the bok I visited the two times I was on the island. Even stayed at the Caribe Hilton!
So yesterday I smoked a '98 Hoyo du Gourmet in the afternoon with some Ron Zacapa Rum.
After dinner, I smoked an Ashton VSG Belicoso #1 with Laphroaig neat. Finished the cigar too quickly, so I had a RyJ TPC from '97 to wrap up the evening.
Spoke to SAP and Oracle, as well as a coupla headhunters yesterday. Something has to happen soon.
Looking more like ligero man's monthly - I really gotta get into the habit of coming by here more often. Anyone reading this yet? I find myself going by
here most days.
